Traditional storytelling, by nature, is a recreation of the past, a contemplative exercise that evoques that which we find familiar, grounded in memory and oftentimes, laden with the embellishments that ego and self-deception intrude.

“Stories in 12X12” is a vision, conjured from the reality of the present and summoned from a parallel dimension; it’s visions emerge from the unconscious and they appear in my art as though enchantresses that connect us to a possible future filled with light and carrying us to the possibilities of love and desire.
